Episode 183. Former Amateur Champion and Legendary Storyteller, Mr. Gordon Sherry

In this episode we are joined by one of golf's most interesting individuals, renowned storyteller, Mr. Gordon Sherry. We also have one of Gordon's old friends and new friend of the show, David Brisson to share some of the stories that have travelled with Gordon.

We dive into his amateur career and discuss what it was like winning the Amateur Championship and his journey to professional golf at the same time as one, Tiger Woods. Gordon discusses what it was like being considered in the same category as Tiger and just what that era in golf looked like compared to today's game.

Gordon tells stories of playing in The Masters, The Open, Walker Cup and playing along legends like Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Greg Norman and Fred Couples with "Turnberry George"...

We explore Gordon's first visit to Canada, where he played in the Greater Vancouver Open, his views on the game today along with his current endeavours.

All that and much more!
